Craig Thiry

In Loving Memory of
Craig Alan Thiry (1968–2025)

Healer, mentor, veteran, and champion for the underdog.

On January 24, 2025, our friend and leader Craig Alan Thiry passed from this life into the presence of Jesus in Austin, Texas. Craig devoted his days to compassionate, evidence-based care and to lifting up the people around him with kindness, excellence, and a steady belief that real health is possible.

Born December 14, 1968, in Pasadena, TX, Craig served his country in the U.S. Army—stationed in Germany—and later in the Army Reserves. A lifelong learner, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College (passing boards on his first attempt), a BS in Registered Nursing from Hardin-Simmons University, and advanced training as an APRN / Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) from Samford University.

After years in chiropractic care across Houston, Laredo, and Beaumont, Craig made Austin home—dedicating the last decade to health and wellness. As owner of True Weight Loss Clinic, he guided patients with compassion and accountability, celebrating every step forward. Craig gave generously to his church and community, and he was known for advocating for those without a voice.

Craig shaped the heart of our clinic: patient-first care, integrity, and results that last. In that same spirit, our team continues his work under new leadership—honoring the standard he set and the people he loved serving.

We invite you to share a memory, message, or photo below for Craig’s family and our team.
